Countries: Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis is an island country located in the West Indies, in the Leeward Islands chain of the Lesser Antilles.
The first natives to live on the islands, as early as 3,000 years ago, were the?Ciboney (or Siboney), an?Arawak people.
The term "Arawak" has been applied at various times from the Lokono of South America to the TaÃno, who lived in the Greater Antilles and Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean.
The TaÃno were a historic indigenous peoples of the Caribbean, whose culture has been continued today by TaÃno descendant communities.
The Ciboney were the principal inhabitants of most of what is now Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Haiti, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and the northern Lesser Antilles (c. 2400 BC).
They spoke an?Arawakan language?and used an early form of?proto-writing?in the form of?petroglyph, as found in?TaÃno archeological sites?in the?West Indies.
The?Antilles is an island group?bordered by the?Caribbean Sea?to the south and west, the?Gulf of Mexico?to the northwest, and the?Atlantic Ocean?to the north and east.?
Saint Kitts?and?Nevis?were widely recognized as being separate entities with distinct identities until they were united in the late 19th century.
Following the Great Flood (c. 2100 BC), which destroys all of humanity except the family of Noah, Genesis 10 presents a family tree in the form of a branched or segmented genealogy, tracing the descendants of Noah’s three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, and their descendants. Many of these names become future nations, tribes, lands and cities, known to us from elsewhere in the Bible and from extra-biblical sources: Accordingly, this chapter is referred to as the “Table of Nations.â€
In the Book of Genesis, the mountains of Ararat is the term used to designate the region in which Noah's Ark comes to rest after the Great Flood (c. 2100 BC), which destroys all of humanity except the family of Noah.
From these eight people …. Noah, his sons and their wives …? the whole earth was populated.
