Counting Blessings Day

Today is a day for celebrating. Also a day to reflect on the blessings we encounter day to day, year to year. In these comments, I'll set aside the blessings for a moment that involve friends and family (an area in which I'm truly blessed). As I begin my new journey with a new company, I had to stop and remember where I just left.

Most of the time, we change jobs to either escape something undesirable or pursue something more desirable. What a blessing when the change is made with all the professional relationships intact and friendships continued!

When I spoke to my manager about leaving my previous company, I hoped it would be as smooth a transition as possible. As I write this, I couldn't be more grateful for the wishes and kind words shared by my colleagues.

So today I wish to express my gratitude for the blessings given by my former colleagues/current friends at Invacare and the opportunity given to me by my new colleagues at Broda. My four and a half years at Invacare was truly special. I grew as a person and as a professional. My colleagues/friends at Invacare will always be welcome in my home and I'm so proud to say that everyone I met had the highest integrity, professionalism, and desire to help our customers. There is no better example of true professionals than those friends at Invacare, especially my Region Manager Trey Dublin. And I'm blessed to continue that tradition in my new company, Broda, where I have seen nothing except the same high level of integrity. I just wanted to make sure that I acknowledged how fortunate I am in this transition.
