Countdown to the launch of our API: the Vulavula API release

Ever come across an originally African NLP API that challenges the dominance of Western languages in the field of natural language processing? Our Vulavula API is that NLP.?

The launch of our API is less than a month away, preceded by a hackathon to reveal the API on 29-30 June, and we absolutely cannot wait to have more of you using the API, to bring multilinguality to your services and solutions.

We had over 300 applicants to participate in the hack, and we have selected 65 incredible young developers to create solutions that truly move humanity forward. Congratulations to the 65 hackers- may the best team win!

“This marks a significant milestone in our journey as a startup, and we can't wait to see how our users will innovate with it.” - Chief Technology Officer, Jade Abbott.

As we all eagerly await the launch of our API, the beta of the Vulavula API is available, you can access the documentation here, the notebook here, and simply install the Python SDK using pip install Vulavula. We encourage everyone to try it out and share their feedback with us.?
