Countdown to Ignite 2020
For those who saw this headline and immediately thought, "Yes! I can't wait to light this year on fire and be done with it!" or "Great! What's on fire now?!" - you certainly aren't alone. Thankfully, though, this is about one of the good things to come out of this year! Microsoft is making their annual technology conference, Microsoft Ignite, free to anyone online to participate live during September 22-24, 2020. If you aren't familiar with the conference, this is a perfect opportunity to get a taste of that sweet, sweet firehose water that previous attendees have been looking forward to all year.
For many years now, Microsoft has hosted their multi-day Ignite conferences where thousands of technical professionals of all shapes, sizes, and experience levels gather to see and hear about all the new features, updates, and products Microsoft has been working on - while picking up all kinds of fun swag and directly picking the brains of the expert teams from Microsoft and their partners. The amount of content in the form of theater sessions, break-outs, and hands-on demos inevitably lead to several insanely difficult choices in which sessions to attend. Thankfully, Microsoft has had a great method of recording and publishing most sessions online so that anyone, regardless if they attended the conference or not, can watch these events on-demand at their convenience. To give you an idea of the scale of previous content, Ignite 2019 has over 1,500 sessions available!
Since that is an overwhelming amount of content for anyone to tackle - this week I'll be sharing some of my favorite session from Microsoft Ignite past, and would love to hear from others if you have any to share. Most importantly, don't forget to sign up for Microsoft Ignite 2020 - it's only a couple of weeks away!
