Could you spare a penny a mile?

First, apologies this isn’t what LinkedIn is for, but, seeing as you’re reading at least this far, on 15th-18th May 2016 I'll be taking part in Bobby on a Bike, a coast to coast cycle ride across England and Wales. Whilst I'm trying not to think about the distance and the Welsh hills, I am hoping to raise awareness and funds for a small deserving charity: Tac's Rest. Tac's Rest is a holiday caravan on the Welsh coast used to give families in need from across the UK a well deserved break.
With so many good causes all trying to raise funds, I'm simply looking for 100 people to sponsor me just £4 each. That's 1p per mile for the 400 miles on the ride.
Please visit www.tacsrest.co.uk to learn more, see how any money raised is used and, if you scroll to the right, you'll find a donate button should you wish to sponsor me.
If you do, please click the 'More info' button and add your name and my name so I know who to thank!
Thank you, Paul

8 年Thanks to those who’ve asked how it went, I can confirm it IS a proper challenge! A fantastic one though with wonderful scenery, tremendous support and some great guys to ride with. At the (very welcome) end by Cardigan Bay I was fortunate to visit Tac’s Rest, the caravan the charity is named after, and reading some of the comments in the visitors book made it all worthwhile as these families clearly appreciated a brief respite from the challenges in their lives. Thank you for all your support and donations are still welcome of course, Paul
