The aims of our organisation are: ? To support the mental health of the Halton community by providing improved access to programmes, services, education and therapies that improve overall wellbeing and foster mental health resilience. ? To develop an effective and sustainable social enterprise that supports the community and also offers new opportunities to improve wellbeing, learn new skills and access training. ? To provide an affordable and effective space for hire for the provision of events, workshops and services that support wellbeing locally and allow practitioners to engage more effectively with the community. ? To promote innovation in wellbeing programme development and advocate for mental health in the local community. The Role: We are looking for passionate, committed and dynamic leaders to join our Board of Directors and help us to drive our organisation forward. Directors will be asked to bring expertise, experience and skills that can support the work of the organisation. We are particularly interested in those who can bring specific knowledge of social enterprise, mental health & psychology, training & qualifications or finance & strategic planning. However we are open to anyone who brings enthusiasm for what we do and can help us to create exciting new plans for the future. As a Director you are likely to attend 6 board meetings annually, as well as other occasional team days and celebratory events within a 12 month period.
