During 2016-2017 we built an integrated TEKLA design process with our own ERP and production systems. This was a major change for us, and has taken a lot of efforts. The second step is that Peikko has increased BIM collaboration with our co-operation partners, such as structural design companies or construction companies, by using TEKLA Model Sharing. With sharing the model Peikko’s engineers can directly input 3D details into the TEKLA Model Sharing, whether DELTABEAMS? or other steel structures. The verification process from the designer point of view of DELTABEAMS? is now minutes, not weeks, thus also allowing more flexibility and speed, and less errors, to all parties.

Projects using TEKLA Model Sharing Peikko have been done already in the Netherlands, Nordic countries and Baltics.
