?? Could the future of film entertainment be in VR? ??
I recently had an incredible experience watching Vosmos Studio VR Dance Video, available through the DeoVR Streaming Platform platform. Vosmos studio is leading the way in VR filmmaking, transforming audience experiences with groundbreaking VR cinematography.
During the event, I had the opportunity to discuss with video director Nelson Tam about how traditional camera motions might be counterproductive in VR. While it was mesmerizing to be so close to the captivating dancers and experience a futuristic environment, I did find that standing up during the VR experience made me feel a bit dizzy. Sitting down proved to be more comfortable and enjoyable.
Our conversation highlighted how VR filmmaking requires new rules and techniques. The heightened immersion VR offers can engage audiences in ways that traditional methods might not, but it also has the potential to overwhelm if not approached thoughtfully.
A big thank you to James and Manli Sun for inviting us to this enlightening event. We experienced the DeoVR Streaming Platform , which could significantly aid VR content creators in their craft.
What’s your take—are videos better on traditional 2D screens or in the immersive 3D realm of VR? Share your thoughts and experiences!
