Couch Potato to Tar Heel 10: Let’s chat!

Hey everyone! Coming to you live from my biology class—multitasking like a pro! As I listen to this lecture, I’m on the hunt for some good classes at UNC that meet three key criteria: easy, interesting, and no attendance (especially since it’s senior year).

Here’s my plea: If you know of any classes that fit all three of these criteria, please share! I’d also love to hear about classes that might fit two out of the three. At this point, I’m open to exploring anything that can make my final semester a bit more laid-back and silly!

Now, a quick update on my running: I must regretfully report that I didn’t get to run yesterday. I caught a cold this week, which has made it tough to stay active and feel productive. But you know me—I’m determined to get back out there, even if it means just taking a light jog to ease back into it.

With the cold weather finally hitting Chapel Hill, I’ve been loving the crisp air on my walks to class. It’s refreshing and makes me want to run even more!

Here are my top picks for cold weather athleisure that keep me comfy while I tackle the chilly days:

  1. Wunder Under Leggings (Lululemon) - A classic! They last longer than the Aligns and provide that extra support, making them perfect for both workouts and lounging.
  2. Swiftly Tech Long Sleeve (Lululemon) - My go-to for fall! These are great for layering or pairing with biker shorts for a run. I love the solid colors, but the heathered options are fun too!
  3. Packable Puffer (Free People) - This jacket is a game-changer! It’s incredibly warm, comes in vibrant colors, and is super comfortable. Perfect for throwing on after a run.
  4. AirPods Max - When the temperatures drop and my ears get chilly, I always reach for these. They’re fantastic for listening to music while staying cozy outdoors. Honestly, anything Apple is a win in my book!

Stay warm out there, and I can’t wait to hear your class recommendations soon!

Yeehaw Dcaw!
