A Modern Makeover with Warmth

After reimagining their bathroom and bedroom, our clients entrusted us with the exciting task of redesigning their lounge and sunroom. Their request? To bring forward the sleek sophistication of Rimadesio products from upstairs, but with added warmth and a stronger connection to nature.

The brief was clear: create clean, stylish designs that harmonise with the existing home while fostering a cosy, inviting atmosphere.

Lounge: Sleek, Stylish, and Cosy

The lounge’s focal point is a stunning media wall featuring Rimadesio Self-storage units and Eos shelves. Matt glass doors in soft hues conceal tech clutter, keeping the space minimalist yet functional.

To balance this modern aesthetic, we introduced cream and olive-green walls, plush chenille sofas, and faux greenery—infusing organic charm. Walnut accents added warmth through drawer packs with open veneer inserts and illuminated Eos shelves framing the media wall.

A touch of drama comes from the slatted walnut panelling behind the TV, enhanced by LED strip lighting that highlights the grain and creates a cosy glow in the evenings.

Seamless Flow: Lounge to Sunroom

The transformation continued with the replacement of the old fireplace and doors with sleek Rimadesio Soho sliding pocket doors in bronze metal. These flush-fitting doors allow light to flow freely while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. Minimalist white Zehnder radiators were also added, blending seamlessly into the design.

Sunroom: Modern, Functional, and Inviting

The sunroom mirrors the lounge’s cohesive design, featuring walnut accents, bronze finishes, and soft green tones. Storage is both stylish and practical, with three Eos shelves and a freestanding Rimadesio Alambra bookcase that serves as a striking focal point.

The sliding doors not only unify the spaces but also diffuse sunlight, creating a serene and welcoming retreat.

By combining matt glass, bronze, and walnut with carefully placed lighting, we’ve created two spaces that embody modern elegance with natural warmth.
