I remember the exact moment I realized something was wrong.

I was at a networking event, standing there with my drink, when someone asked, “So, what do you do?”

I froze.

I stumbled through some vague explanation about consulting, storytelling, and strategy. Only to see their eyes glaze over.

And just like that—the conversation moved on. Away from me.

It happened again and again. And each time, I felt like such a failure.
