The Cost of "Free" – Ensuring HT4M's Vital Support

The Cost of "Free" – Ensuring HT4M's Vital Support

Have you ever wondered why Medicaid is often perceived as "free" even when it plays an essential role in the lives of millions? It's a question that has been on our minds, especially as we approach a significant milestone in our journey – Health Tech for Medicaid (HT4M)'s 5th anniversary.

At HT4M, we've always believed in the power of innovation and equity to transform the Medicaid landscape. Over the past five years, we've worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare, advocating for the millions who rely on Medicaid for their well-being. For those of you who have supported us, we couldn't have come this far without the generous support of individuals like you who share our vision.?However, much of the work we do, people expect for FREE.

Medicaid is a lifeline for many, offering access to essential healthcare services that can mean the difference between hope and despair. However, the misconception that it's "FREE" often obscures the reality – that it requires resources, commitment, and financial support to ensure its continued impact.

Our 5-year milestone celebration on November 9, 2023, is not just a commemoration of our achievements; it's a testament to the progress we've made and the potential for even greater change ahead. We're excited about the possibilities, but we need your help to make it a reality.

We've reached out to many of our dedicated members over the past few months, urging them to renew their memberships and contribute to our cause. We understand that times are uncertain, and financial commitments may be stretched thin. Still, we want to emphasize that every contribution, regardless of size, is a vote of confidence in our mission.

Your support has been pivotal in our journey, and we hope you'll consider CONTRIBUTING vs. only seeing us a valuable if we are FREE. In this critical moment, your generosity will directly contribute to the sustainability of HT4M and our ability to advocate for those who depend on Medicaid.

We are deeply grateful for your past support and collaboration. Your involvement has made a tangible difference in the lives of Medicaid beneficiaries and their communities. Together, we can continue to amplify their voices, champion equity, and pave the way for a more inclusive future.

As we delve into the question of why Medicaid is seen as "FREE," let's also reflect on the cost of ensuring HT4M's?vital support. It's an investment in the well-being of millions, and it's an investment in the future we all aspire to create.

Thank you for considering this call to action. Your open heart and support can help us achieve our 5-year milestone and make an even greater impact in the years to come.

With gratitude and hope,

Adimika Arthur
