Qualifications

To be qualified for consideration, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost margin analysis and preparation of results for reporting to the Management Team

They will work closely with Production Control, Manufacturing Supervisors and Bargaining Unit Personnel to resolve and enhance current data collection procedures on the floor and analyze job cost data for completeness and accuracy

They will cross train in the daily duties and responsibilities of the inventory control functions and be responsible for calculating, tracking and reporting on overhead expenses and maintaining cost within the ERP platform

Job description
