Cosmonova Broadcast was represented by Maksym Kravchuk at the industry event Days of Electronic Communications (DEC), who covered the topic of innovative services. The expert said that in working with clients he often encountered client’s reckless attitude to choice.
At first glance, it is a very superficial analysis of the costs of the technical component of the business. However, in reality it is a psychological factor, fear of changes in processes and technologies. After all, arguments often sound intuitive and are easily refuted.
Third-party service or your own infrastructure?

IP Delivery Service to Signal Operators, which has recently received new updates to both the interface and the ability to use noise-tolerant delivery protocols.
Stream Online Service. It is an internet broadcasting service, which was completely updated in 2021, and has already passed the stage of practical application with high requirements and heavy workload (web, social networks) and the publication of slices.
Signal recording services (as required by law or for own needs, with the possibility of cutting by EPG or by time).
Audio help - to get a list of used audio content, for example, to control the copyright and related rights used. And other services combined into a single Cosmo All Service Platform.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2021, which was broadcast for the biggest broadcasters on the Internet at Cosmonova Broadcast, has recently come to an end. The total load on the servers to broadcast this event exceeded 100 Gb / s. The Stream online service was used for broadcasting this event.
