Cosmeca Korea (CEO Cho Im-rae), a cosmetics OGM company, announced on July 24 that it would strengthen its safety and health management system to create a safe working environment and achieve zero serious accidents.
Cosmecca Korea has established a multifaceted safety management system, including △guiding optimal evacuation routes in case of disasters, △introducing disaster safety chatbots, △analyzing worker safety equipment, △AI-based fire detection systems, and △simulation for fire education. This aims to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of executives and employees.
Notably, Cosmecca Korea’s ‘optimal evacuation route guidance in case of disaster’ system is operated through wearable devices. In the event of a fire, the AI-based fire detection system operates to quickly detect the emergency situation and then transmits the optimal evacuation route to the wearable device, taking into account real-time worker location estimation and evacuation density. Workers receive fire warnings and visualized evacuation routes on wearable devices, enabling safe and quick evacuation even when situated in underground and complex plant structures.
Another point to note is the ‘Disaster Safety Chatbot’ which is a system based on Large Language Model (LLM) technology. ?This system quickly provides response information in the event of a disaster emergency, improving response capabilities and shortening response time.
A safety and health official from Cosmecca Korea said, “This strengthening of the safety and health management system is part of our efforts to create a safe working environment and achieve zero serious accidents,” and added, “We are building a solid system to respond to accidents through continuous safety equipment and inspection and training of executives and employees. We will strengthen a culture by establishing a safety and health management system.”

Cosmecca Korea continues its efforts to raise safety awareness and strengthen its ability to respond to emergency situations by holding regular Occupational Safety and Health Committee meetings and conducting safety training for executives and employees.
