Dear colleagues and friends,

I am working on hydrogen embrittlement phenomena for years. The awareness of decision-makers and EU hydrogen energy promoters regarding materials-hydrogen interactions and hydrogen embrittlement of steel pipelines and other components is rather low.

My efforts to raise awareness of potential risks related to hydrogen-related corrosion issues of steel are emphasized within a special issue of the Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering dedicated to the problems of corrosion and hydrogen, including hydrogen embrittlement, in the gas and oil industry.

Check the comprehensive review papers already published within the special issue related to various aspects of hydrogen damage of steel including hydrogen embrittlement, HIC, external and internal corrosion of pipelines, and other papers (total of 14).
