Corporate Protection Leadership Council and International Protective Security Board Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Corporate Protection Leadership Council (CPLC) and the International Protective Security Board (IPSB) are excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote our collective efforts to raise the close protection profession. This partnership aims to bring greater clarity around best practices in the global close protection community, further enhancing the safety & security of those protected by these professionals.

The MOU outlines the purpose of the agreement, which is to facilitate mutual cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and resources between CPLC and IPSB. As the premier steering committee for the corporate protective services industry, CPLC provides access to a vast network of professionals, survey findings & benchmarking, and sector-based guiding principles. IPSB, a nonprofit organization, serves as a collaborative space for the global protection community, representing sectors such as executive/corporate, high-threat, faith-based, high-net-worth, celebrity/entertainment, and government/dignitary security.

Josh Kaufman President of, CPLC stated "The MOU between CPLC and IPSB further solidifies an already strong partnership between the two groups and will allow for continued growth toward a more defined protective services community by leveraging our collective resources and network of talent to position the industry for long-term success.

Through this MOU, the CPLC and IPSB will explore opportunities for benchmarking and the identification of industry best practices as well as collaborative training & educational opportunities. The agreement is effective immediately and will remain in place until either party provides written notice of termination.
