Hours per week: 37.5h/week

Employee Working Location: Virtual/Remote (Canada)

Our Mission as an organization?

QueerTech is a nonprofit organization. We strive to queer the tech ecosystem by breaking down barriers, creating spaces, and connecting communities to support and empower LGBTQ2S+ people to thrive. Our community has over 8,000 members across Canada. We have over 120 corporate partners and over 75 community partners.?


In 2016, QueerTechMTL was created as a meetup group in partnership with MontrealNewTech, to surface and connect fellow LGBTQ+ (Queer) professionals within the local tech industry. We quickly grew from casual meetups into a center of LGBTQ+ tech activity, and within 2 short years, we incorporated as QueerTech, a non-profit organization headquartered in Montreal.

Your Mission?

As QueerTech’s Corporate Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping QueerTech execute on its annual fundraising goal by identifying new business opportunities, and developing and strengthening existing relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work closely with other members of the organization to ensure that partnerships are aligned with our overall strategy and mission.


You are someone who strongly believes in QueerTech’s mission, and can bring your own unique perspective to our small team. We are always looking for ways to do things better, so you can’t be afraid to speak up, ask questions, and take ownership and pride in your work.?


As Corporate Partnership Manager, your responsibilities are:?

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate partnership strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential corporate partners and sponsors
  • Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of existing corporate partners and sponsors
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts
  • Develop and execute activation plans to maximize the value of partnerships
  • Collaborate with other team members within the organization to ensure that partnerships are effectively leveraged across the entire organization
  • Provide regular reports to management on partnership performance and fundraising goals?
  • Stay informed of industry trends and developments in order to identify new opportunities for partnerships.
  • Ability to travel domestically 20% of the time?
  • Occasionally required to work non-traditional hours to meet travel and other commitments (Pride season, QueerTech events and conferences)
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Your Qualifications and Skills?

  • Min of 3 years of work experience in corporate partnership or sponsorship, preferably within a tech community/nonprofit environment.
  • Experience working with management and volunteers in a fundraising or sponsorship role.
  • Excellent people and collaboration skills, with a focus on philanthropy engagement.
  • Strong written and oral communication, in English and in French.
  • Ability to prioritize, self-organize, adapt, and manage tasks and projects to completion with a strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong experience with CRM and database applications.
  • Must be flexible and a self-starter.

Salary and Additional Perks

  • Expected start date: March 15th, 2023 (Flexible)
  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 + Performance bonus?
  • $1,600 per year for Transportation, Mental Health & Wellness budget?
  • $600 per year for professional development?
  • 8 hours of professional development per month up to 10 days annually.?
  • 4 weeks vacation, including the holiday break.
  • Cell phone and Internet monthly stipend up to $100 total
