Since its launch in 2016, Salesforce has consistently invested in updating features and functionality for Financial Services Cloud. Initially released as a tool for wealth managers, in the last 5 years Financial Services Cloud has grown to support retail & commercial banking, insurance, and mortgage. Through all this innovation one key sector of financial services has been conspicuously absent… until now.
While Financial Services Cloud provided out of the box critical business processes for many lines of business, features for corporate investment banking have continued to require customization to meet their unique needs that are heavy on data analytics & compliance. Today, Salesforce announced support for corporate and investment banking natively within Financial Services Cloud.
Financial Services Cloud will now enable increased productivity, collaboration and compliance across the entire deal lifecycle with functionality that includes:
- Click-configurable data access settings to give compliance the ability to control access to material non-public information (MNPI)
- Manage the full deal cycle in a purpose built object that enables robust workflows and fosters collaboration within the deal team
- Understand complex client relationships by making it easier for bankers to track interactions & visualize client relationship maps
- Capture meeting notes that support multiple topics, attendees, and action items and store them in a structured and actionable way
- Create actionable insights with native integrations to third-party data from S&P, FactSet, & other sources
- Leverage AI to discover hidden connections leveraging Einstein Relationship Insights
Bankers tend to spend a lot of time assembling information and tracking the deal process. Leveraging Salesforce Financial Services Cloud will free up their time to focus more on client interaction to find and close more deals.
