I.???????????????????? Purpose of the Job

Corporate Banking Analyst, based in Santiago, covering the Chilean market and working closely supporting the senior team in the business origination, credit and execution of Corporate and Project Finance transactions. Selected candidate will work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, be exposed to multiple disciplines in finance, sectors and products, as well as, large local and multinational corporations/project sponsors. Assist in internal and external presentations, market intelligence analysis, transaction proposals, credit analysis and loan documentation.

II.?????????????????? Key responsibilities & Accountabilities

a.?????? Play a key role assisting senior bankers in origination efforts, opportunity evaluation and deal execution, working on a broad scope of assignments and products.

b.?????? Create various financial analyses, including rating assessment.

c.??????? Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry analysis.

d.?????? Identify areas of credit risk and look to mitigate them.

e.?????? Prepare presentations and other related materials for clients.

f.???????? Structuring and analyzing financial models and execution (Documentation review) of deals across a wide range of sub-sectors.

g.?????? Participate in due diligence sessions and client meetings.

h.?????? Participate in local credit committees.

i.???????? Prepare client onboarding documentation.

j.???????? Support clients with day-to-day operations.

k.??????? Other tasks assigned by the head of the department

III.???????????????? Education & qualifications

a.?????? A relevant Bachelors/Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related career.

b.?????? Strong analytical skills.

c.??????? Financial modelling skills.

d.?????? Self-driven professional, problem solver, proactive and enthusiastic with interest in developing career in Corporate and Investment Banking.

e.?????? At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

f.???????? 100% fluency in English (writing and speaking).

g.?????? Excellent personal skills to work well with multidisciplinary and cultural teams.

IV.???????????????? Knowledge, Skills and Experience

a.?????? Strong knowledge in Corporate Finance (Project finance skills is a plus).

b.?????? Experience with trade finance products considered an advantage.

c.??????? Corporate credit analysis.

d.?????? Macroeconomic knowledge.

e.?????? Strong Communication Skills.
