Corporate America Must Stand Up for Women's Health

As a husband, father, and son, I know firsthand how vital women’s health is, not just for the women in my life but for the strength of our entire community. Women deserve the best healthcare possible—yet right now, that care is under attack across the country. From Montana to Nebraska, South Dakota to Nevada, ballot measures are deciding whether women will have access to the health services they need. These decisions aren’t just personal; they are political, and they have ripple effects on our families, communities, and businesses.
Corporate America, it's time to take a stand. Investing in women's health is not just a moral imperative—it's an economic one. But it really ought to start and end with that moral imperative (after all, these are our daughters and our sisters and our mothers...). Though since Corporate America speaks the language of business, consider that companies rely on healthy employees and consumers to thrive. When women are denied basic healthcare, it leads to poorer health outcomes, lower productivity, and greater healthcare costs for businesses. The might of industry must be brought to bear to ensure that women, who make up half the workforce and influence 70-80% of consumer purchases, receive the healthcare they deserve.
These ballot initiatives aren’t just political issues—they’re economic issues. When companies fight for women’s health, they’re investing in their own future. It's time to align our business strategies with our values and show up for the women who drive this economy. Let’s work together to safeguard access to healthcare for our mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters.
Here's a link to see where ballot initiatives hold women's health in their balance this November. Is your state one of them?
We need industry’s support in protecting women’s health, not just for today, but for generations to come.

5 个月Important topic and it’s so important to see male leaders talking about this, not just leaving it up to women. Thanks for taking a stand, Seth!
