Coronavirus (COVID-19) Exponential problems, exponential solutions

In early 2020, a virus called Sars-Cov2 (COVID-19) took control over the world. Countries make unprecedented decisions, which have never been seen before to mitigate its spread.

Sociantly is an application exploring the untouched areas of Healthcare and solving it using Artificial Intelligence by monitoring Health statistics collectively with real-time technologies like Apple Watch or the smart thermometer Kinsa, maker of a smart thermometer. There is a current epidemic around the World due to the Novel Coronavirus and the current challenges of reliable and abundant RT-PCR kits for mass testing have made it hard for hospitals to predict black Swann events locally becoming overwhelmed with patients during this pandemic.

 At the time of this writing there are more than 700 thousand people found to be positive and it's entering into a pandemic is entering stage-3. For this reason I have developed an application that can help doctors start subscribing smartwatches and sensors that people can willfully share to predict future black Swann events like COVID-19.

Anyone can start subscribing to the waitlist, we are currently working on an integration with the Kinsa smart thermometer. Today neither the Apple Watch nor the Fitbit measure body temperature, though I predict that will change and soon, any ideas or contributors willing to retrofit gadgets are welcome to this project.

Kinsa, has already given a glimpse into the value of analyzing data collectively. The snapshot below from Kinsa’s Health Weather Map, on March 22, 2020 shows what appears to be a significant abnormality in body temperature in New York and Florida, potentially warning of an emerging situation, such as a rise in people with the coronavirus. This kind of overview would allow affected regions to intervene early.
