Coronary Artery Calcification Promotes Atrial Fibrillation: MESA Heart Study.
American Heart Association-CirculationJournal: December 2015. Retrospective analyses of MESA participants showed that the presence of Coronary Artery Calcification volumetrically increases "in a dose-response fashion" the ongoing risk of Atrial Fibrillation and subsequently the risk of Heart Attack and Stroke. This is irrespective of patient age or any other risk factors.
What's the takeaway here? If you have a Family History of Heart Attack, you need to get a CAC Score done (Coronary Artery Calcification Score). If you already have Atrial Fibrillation....you should also have a CAC Score done. If you have a positive CAC Score, you should consider taking NanobacTX. The CAC Score is non-invasive, takes about 15 seconds and accurately and objectively predicts your risk for Heart Attack and Atrial Fibrillation as well. There is a great (and entertaining) documentary movie about the CAC Score and medical politics "The WidowMaker" free-to-watch on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Please WATCH IT if you haven't yet.
