A time to be who we are : The Corona Time of India

The human race is in the climax of waiting to see what happens in next few days to corona scare. India could be the protagonist in this theater . For all that we have thought of ourselves over the centuries, the values , sanskar, charity and discipline we have, is already, in the scrutiny of the world. We could be lucky and get away with Corona with small losses or could be unfortunate and have wide spread of the virus. Although I wish the first for us but inadvertently it does not seem to be the case.

Today morning I asked my driver to be home and be with his mother who iron’s cloths in a society. I told him, nearing 60”s she would be more susceptible and therefore he should take her place for few days , I will drive myself , what he said was surprising , she would not listen to him…….

How do we cure this … people who understand are not able to influence people who do not! the virus will not spare ignorant and will engulf the one who knows equally. 

The have’s in this country are completely dependent on the have nots, your maid , your driver , the cook and the list goes on , there is a real fear that you will have to be on your own, but that’s secondary , primary is will you continue to pay them for leaves? …. for 15 days or may be 30 -45 days, please think about it .. 

With the onslaught on daily wagers there will be people in need of ration and medicines, as a society are we going to look at the government for everything or you are preparing yourself to contribute.

You may have people around you who might need your help … like a medical emergency. Despite Corona will you move out, accompany them to hospital …. So on and so forth …

We might enter in this zone please prepare yourself … the world is watching you .
