Hello Friends,
It’s with a very honest heart that I share some big news: the acorn-of-an-idea that started this business called recruiting has come to an end. We have closed the recruiting chapter and will remain committed to developing human potential through training and coaching programs. I’d like to think that over the past ten years we have grown some beautiful oak trees. We’ve worked with amazing hiring managers, incredible executive teams and placed copious truly remarkable people in new roles.?
What I know for sure is that this market has changed. Many recruiters will tell you the tales of the gruelling halt; some may not believe it and others may have a different story. I think all of us are right. ?Yet what is most important is that we honour what has been a wild ?ride of a decade. Companies are hiring (and firing!) differently; some much faster and others much slower. How folks are looking for and landing work has changed. So we must change too.?
It would be remiss of me to not celebrate the enormous heart of Lana Bradshaw and everything she brought during these economic windstorms. She weathered the weather with gumboots and grace like none other. She has mentored, coached and counselled hundreds of candidates on the hunt for their next role in what has been undeniably the most challenging job market. She has found the unicorns in the fields of thoroughbreds. She truly has been an extraordinary partner in this business. Therefore, it is also with great joy that I get to celebrate her next chapter as the Head of Corporate Recruitment at Nature’s Path.
If this year is feeling like an acorn or an oak tree, I’m here to remind you that we most definitely need both of those in this ecosystem of possibility.?

Where ever there is a vision, there is a revision. I'm stoked for you Team Corker Co (and Steph Corker) on this focussed adjustment. Sometimes the roots take hold in a different direction than the original hypothesis. Recognizing this and shifting with the growth will make this tree even stronger. I love what this team does. I'm cheering for you.
