CoreWorks delivers cool success to British Columbia

CoreWorks designed, built and delivered a custom-built cryogenic system for CryoPeak for their processing facility in Fort Nelson, British Columbia. The entire process went smoothly and efficiently. Thanks to our state-of-the-art facility in Texas, we designed the equipment to the exact specifications of the client and produce a system that aligned perfectly with their production requirements.

Advantages of installing your cryogenic equipment into a Cold Box include:

  • Ease of equipment installation greatly reduces the cost and time associated with on-site field construction. Upon arrival on site, the equipment is “uprighted”, set on the foundation, piped up, insulated, and is basically "ready to operate."
  • No additional support structure is required.
  • Superior insulation system for cryogenic equipment compared to mechanical insulation solutions.
  • Interconnecting piping between the internal equipment and components is all welded and complete, eliminating flange pairs or threaded connections, field piping, and the expense of mechanically insulating interconnecting pipes.
  • Cold Box designs include a nitrogen purge system designed to keep the insulation dry and provide effective early-warning hydrocarbon leak detection.
  • Protection of equipment and insulation against external influences like rain, snow, wind, etc.

“This project for CryoPeak went exceptionally well, especially considering the remote area of the location. The CoreWorks team designed and built the structure to align perfectly with the existing pipe rack. So, we customized everything for the specific site. There was no need for scaffolding and no dangerous, time-consuming high work. The installation went super quick and Crysosys got up and running without delay." – Jeff Diaz, CoreWorks President
