Dear industry professionals,

2022 recently ended, and we'd like to take this opportunity and reflect on it. This was a year full of events, projects, innovation and exciting news. IO-Link Wireless took a big leap in making industrial automation wireless as CoreTigo's ecosystem of partners and customers grew substantially.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of this incredible journey and wish you a fruitful and joyful 2023.

2022 Highlights

Looking back at 2022, we'd like to share with you some of the highlights of this year, and give thanks to our partners?for being a part of this journey.?

January:

TigoHub and TigoAir LK1 SOM were introduced to the market and helped to drive industrial wireless automation further.?

TigoHub , the?Multiport hub for IO-Link Wireless connectivity of IO-Link and DIO devices,?connects up to 4 IO-Link and up to a combination of 6 IO-Link\DIO devices and converts to IO-Link Wireless. It enables multi-sensors & actuators on transport tracks, robotic end-of-arms, and other applications?which require multiple devices in small-in-motion work cells.?

TigoAir LK1 SOM ?is an embedded IO-Link Wireless module for IO-Link devices. It converts from IO-Link to IO-Link Wireless over 2-3.3V UART, replacing the wired IO-Link PHY.?

February:?

Being recently named a 罗克韦尔自动化 Technology Partner, CoreTigo's connectivity solutions were featured on Rockwell's blog post: "IO-Link Wireless Enhances Packaging Machines".?This post reviewed the opportunity laid in using IO-Link Wireless in packaging machines - thus enhancing them and enabling both faster and more adaptive machines.?Read the blog post here .?

March:

To further unbind the industrial world,?a partnership was formed with VAHLE Group . By combining VAHLE's inductive and contactless power with CoreTigo's wireless solutions, a complete and comprehensive solution was formed for agility and flexibility on transport tracks. Expanding its North American activity, CoreTigo joined A3 - Association for Advancing Automation . Thus joining?the world's largest automation trade association which consists of more than 1200 members and companies involved in technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and much more.

April:?

As IO-Link Wireless based solutions continue gaining interest in the DACH region,?CoreTigo's?Business Development Director DACH, Martin Reich , took part in both SPS-MAGAZIN 's?Tech Talks 2022 and? VDMA 's?"Wireless Communication for?Industry", click here to watch it (German language).?

At SPS Italia , HANNOVER MESSE , and the IO-Link User Workshop in?Friedrichshafen, Germany,?we were delighted to see so many of you and finally meet in person.?

Together with partners such as B&R Industrial Automation ,? DEA COBOTICS ( Distributore Robotica ) , GIMATIC , R?HM Clamping , LAUMAS Innovation In Weighing , Metal Work Pneumatic , VAHLE Group , Zimmer Group , and more we illustrated live the many benefits, capabilities, and applications made available when leveling up to wireless industrial connectivity.?

The lecture “Achieving Industry 4.0 Adaptability with IO-Link Wireless” was given by CoreTigo's Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer,? Gabi Daniely as part of the "Industrie 4.0 Conference Stage" at HANNOVER MESSE 2022. Watch it here to learn how ultra-reliable real-time wireless automation takes manufacturing to the next level.

The lecture "Wireless Automation on the Factory Floor" was given in the Italian language by? Matteo Orlandelli , CoreTigo’s Country Director Italy, as part of the Scientific Conference, dedicated to advanced automation during SPS Italia .?Click here to?watch the lecture.

At ARC Advisory Group 's European Industry Forum on?that same month,?CoreTigo co-presented a case study with clamping technology leader and partner?- R?HM Clamping . The session focused on the convergence of IT and OT, illustrating it via the iJaw case study, showing how innovative solutions allow communication to flow seamlessly and work flawlessly at all levels of the factory.

The jointly developed iJaw solution enables intelligence and flexibility not possible before?and is driving a variety of benefits ranging from predictive maintenance?to safety and quality improvement, and machine optimization.?Watch the recording?here .?

July:

The news about CoreTigo's operations in North America hits waves, as publications such as Packaging World ?(link ), Automation World (link ),?and Thomas (link ).

September:

艾默生 made a strategic investment, joining CoreTigo’s financing round, via Emerson Ventures, its capital investment arm, to reach the full potential of Industry 4.0.?

The Industrial worldwide leader and strategic investor, joined CoreTigo’s portfolio of distinguished investors, including Cardumen Capital , Magma Venture Partners , Meron Capital , Qualcomm Ventures , SIERRA Ventures , Verizon Ventures , and Meitav - ???? ??? ?????? .

Continuing the line of live and in-person events, CoreTigo showcased IO-Link Wireless capabilities and CoreTigo's product portfolio at the IO-Link User Workshop in?Kassel, Germany.

October:

Following 艾默生 's investment, CoreTigo took part in Emerson Exchange Americas 2022. There CoreTigo exhibited live an array?of industrial wireless automation solutions and applications - complementary?to Emerson's technologies. This was continued with CoreTigo's panel display at Emerson's booth at SPS – Smart Production Solutions 2022.?

A unique solution was created following the cooperation of NXTGN SOLUTIONS and CoreTigo -?an IIoT gateway?that uses both IO-Link Wireless and mobile communication, enabling?the digitization of process data in one device.

November:

November was a month full of mega-events, kicked off with SPS – Smart Production Solutions 2022. There, in collaboration with B&R Industrial Automation , LAUMAS Innovation In Weighing , NXTGN SOLUTIONS ,? SIBONI Srl , R?HM Clamping , VAHLE Group , Zimmer Group , and more, CoreTigo demonstrated live the many capabilities of IO-Link Wireless automation solutions for numerous industries.

CoreTigo also partnered with ifm in a joint demo at the 博世力士乐 ctrlX AUTOMATION booth to show how ifm IO-Link devices and CoreTigo IO-Link Wireless communication work with the Bosch ctrlX PLC.

艾默生 's booth featured for the first time an IO-Link Wireless architecture panel, consisting of CoreTigo's products and featuring factory automation solutions.?

Gabi Daniely , CoreTigo Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer, delivered the lecture?"IO-Link Wireless – the Key to Faster and More Flexible Machines" and answered following questions.?

罗克韦尔自动化 Fair 2022 followed, where?CoreTigo's North America Team demonstrated?how its IO-Link Wireless products complement other Rockwell Automation partners' technologies, with?live demonstrations?of IO-Link Wireless in collaboration?with VAHLE Group & 罗克韦尔自动化 .

Reid Schook , President of CoreTigo Inc., took part in the "Designing for Flexibility" panel with VAHLE Group ?and groninger Group .

Wireless Congress 2022 wrapped up the November events.?There, Martin Reich , CoreTigo’s Business Development Director DACH, talked about how?wireless breaks ground for the first time in the industrial field both for real-time control and monitoring for factory automation solutions, in his lecture?"Unbinding Factory Automation Communication with IO-Link Wireless".

December:

We finished the year on a high note as R?HM Clamping and CoreTigo's iJaw Smart Clamp won the Best of Industry Award in the Clamping Tools category - recognizing its unique ability to measure clamping force during machining.
