CoreTigo News - October 2024

Dear CoreTigo community,

November is just around the corner, and CoreTigo is set to make waves at two major industry events - Join us?at SPS (November 12-14) and the Rockwell Automation Fair (November 18-21) 2024.

At SPS 2024 CoreTigo's?partners will showcase various demonstrations of how IO-Link Wireless enables advanced industrial applications. Stop by the PNO booth (Hall 5, Booth 210) at SPS for the main IO-Link Wireless demo, and visit us at Stand 1248 at the Automation Fair. There you can experience first-hand the revolutionary capabilities of IO-Link Wireless.

This issue also covers some of the latest solutions for the modern logistics and manufacturing landscape. As the demands for high-speed Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS)?grow, CoreTigo’s wireless innovation transforms warehouse efficiency, enabling everything from high-speed shuttles to complex stacker crane systems. IO-Link Wireless also created new possibilities with Near Field Communication solutions, as depicted below. Finally, don't miss our latest blog from Head of Support, Ofir Levi, on simplifying analog sensor integration with IO-Link Wireless.

Wishing you an insightful reading.?

Sincerely,?

Automated Storage and Retrieval System

IO-Link Wireless Enables New Industrial Solutions

Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS systems), stacker cranes, and material handling equipment need to operate with precision and high speed to keep up with increasing demands. As warehouses and logistic facilities manage a wide variety of items—ranging from small, irregularly shaped products to large, heavy loads—these systems must handle complex inventory retrieval and order fulfillment tasks efficiently and accurately.

IO-Link Wireless communication delivers industrial-grade, real-time control for ASRS warehouses, and other automated systems by enabling high-speed wireless communication between various components such as cranes, conveyors, sensors, telescopic arms, and actuators. It enables smooth and accurate handling of diverse products in dynamic warehouse environments. IO-Link Wireless eliminates network delays, interference, and dead zones, ensuring deterministic communication for fast, error-free operations, even in complex industrial and logistics facilities.

Near Field Communication System

Contactless Near Field IO-Link Wireless Communication

Mass customization demands are driving the Manufacturing and Supply Chain industries for deploying high-performance motion and mobility solutions. Along with?Industry 4.0?efficiency demands, connectivity becomes a challenge, and wireless innovations are key enablers driving such automation solutions.

A smart conveying system with motion-controlled contactless high-speed shuttles, or a?cross belt system?with similar carriers are examples of such applications that introduce requirements that wired solutions or traditional wireless technologies (such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) cannot address.
