At present, the common core wire of diamond wires is tungsten wire and high carbon steel wire. The main differences between the two are as follows:?
Conceptually, tungsten wire is a thin wire made from tungsten bars after forging and drawing, with a purity of more than 99.95% and a diameter of 35-40μm;
Steel wire is a thin wire produced by drawing or cold rolling hot-rolled wire rods, with a diameter of about 43μm. The former has a thinner wire diameter, so the diamond wire products produced can reduce the loss of materials and improve the cutting quality of slicing.

?From the performance point of view, tungsten wire has excellent flexibility, high tensile strength, heat resistance, wear resistance, oxidation resistance, and fatigue resistance; High carbon steel wire also has the advantages of high tensile strength and fatigue resistance.
