Core values are vital to a company's growth!
Ryan Botner
Professional Speaker | Facilitator | Performance Coach | I help stressed out professional men and women connect their why with their way, so that they can start living a life of significance.
Today, I’d like to share some thoughts on CORE VALUES for companies and organizations with you.
CORE VALUES are comprised of a short list of four to five words that they have intentionally identified as their guiding principles for a company or organization. These CORE VALUES define your culture and who you really are as people.
CORE VALUES should be published for all to see (E.g., on a wall, in a brochure, in the employee manual, etc.). Ideally, these values are known and embraced by everyone in your company. Without them, growth is hindered.
When I ask clients what their CORE VALUES are, their answer usually has to do with the following...
Then, I ask, “Do you and your team own these CORE VALUES?”?
Some will say, “Yeah, we own them. We came up with them.”?But that doesn't mean you own them. Owning your company’s CORE VALUES happens only when everyone is living them out every day. Everyone on your team knows and understands that people are hired and fired according to the company’s CORE VALUES
Being an individual of VALUE takes work. So does being a company of VALUE.?There is no such thing as business ethics. It's just ethics. If you use good ethics in life, it also works in business. Happy day! ???
Personally and professionally, MY MISSION and?CORE VALUES are these:?
MY MISSION: We are PEOPLE of VALUE... PEOPLE who VALUE PEOPLE... PEOPLE who strive to bring VALUE to PEOPLE.
The Law of Life is the Law of the Harvest: Sow sparingly, reap sparingly. Sow bountifully, reap bountifully.
MY CORE VALUES:
I own this and live this.?
CORE VALUES are vital for growth in companies and individuals! I'd love to talk more about this with you, so let’s connect soon.
BE INTENTIONAL!
