In 2024, Core Scientific was fortunate to partner with over 20 organizations in each of the communities in which we operate to support economic and social improvements. These collaborations uplifted communities through food banks for families in need, youth development programs that shape tomorrow's leaders, and holiday support bringing toys and joy to children throughout local and neighboring communities. Here's how these efforts came to life within each community.
Austin, Texas
Family Eldercare Summer Fan Drive
For over 30 years, Family Eldercare Summer Fan Drive has distributed free fans to elderly Austin, TX neighbors to provide relief from the searing Texas heat. In 2024, Core Scientific provided fans to help push the Summer Fan Drive to their goal of delivering 10,000 fans to Central Texans.

Urban Roots
Urban Roots is a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing fresh foods and developing leaders in the Austin community. The Core Scientific team spent a day with Urban Roots, helping harvest kale, process bok choy, trellis cucumbers, and more. With their help, Urban Roots was able to provide 95 shares of locally and sustainably grown veggies to the community.

Calvert City, Kentucky
Western Kentucky Little Britches Rodeo
Western Kentucky Little Britches Rodeo is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is a franchise of the National Little Britches Rodeo Association. Founded in 1952, the National Little Britches Rodeo Association is a youth rodeo organization for kids ages 5 to 18. Its goal is to develop within its members and families a spirit of fair competition and appreciation of good sportsmanship throughout the experience of healthy rodeo competition. Core Scientific was a proud sponsor of this year's rodeo and even had employee family members compete in it.

Lunar Allstars
The Lunar Allstars’ state-of-the-art cheerleading gym offers a place for people of all ages in Dalton, GA and surrounding areas to train, compete, and have unparalleled fun in a safe and secure environment. Core Scientific was a proud 2024 sponsor of the Lunar Allstars.

Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to children in need in the Dalton community. Core Scientific worked with Toys for Tots to make the holidays brighter for local children by providing new toys as Christmas gifts.

Denton Guyer Lady Wildcats Basketball
Denton Guyer is a public high school located in Denton, TX. This year, Core Scientific supported Guyer's Lady Wildcats by purchasing program shirts and assisting with travel expenses as they competed across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

Grand Forks, North Dakota
Grand Forks Town Square Farmers Market
The Grand Forks Town Square Farmers Market is a nonprofit focused on creating a vibrant, educational marketplace for the Greater Grand Forks community. Its goal is to keep the Grand Forks community as local and fresh as possible. The Town Square Farmers Market works to fulfill this by supporting the many talented local producers and artisans in the Red River Valley. Each Saturday, the Farmers Market strives to provide the community with a space to shop, connect, support, and celebrate everything that makes the Grand Forks community grand. Along with being a sponsor of the farmers market, the Core Scientific team helped run a make-and-take craft station, assisted with sanitation efforts throughout the market, and educated the local community on the market’s new contactless/virtual wallet payment system.

Viking Elementary School
Viking Elementary School is a public school in Grand Forks, ND that maintains a food pantry ensuring students have access to food when supplies are limited at home. This year, Core Scientific collaborated with Viking Elementary School to make sure the pantry stayed stocked. In addition to the company's donation, Core Scientific employees hosted a food drive, providing a carload of meals and snacks for children in need.

Marble, North Carolina
Feeding the Carolinas
Feeding the Carolinas is a nonprofit located in North and South Carolina that services all 146 counties with a mission to engage, educate, and unite to achieve food security for all Carolinians. In 2024, Core Scientific worked with Feeding the Carolinas to provide food assistance to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Valley River Humane Society
Founded in 1969, Valley River Humane Society is a nonprofit volunteer organization with the primary goal of reducing the number of homeless animals in the Marble, NC community. The organization is staffed by caring individuals and volunteers dedicated to helping orphaned animals find forever homes. Valley River Humane Society takes in about 2,000 homeless pets and strays every year, split about equally between dogs and cats. In 2024, Core Scientific provided financial support to help advance its mission of finding forever homes for animals in need.

Pecos, Texas
Barstow Bears
In a town where little league baseball’s roots date back to the 1960s, 2024’s team is the town’s first girls' softball team ever. Management at our Pecos, TX data center worked together to coach and support the team. As a team of mostly 3rd and 4th graders, this year’s team placed 3rd in a league of mostly 5th-grade students. Nice work, ladies!
Cyclone Ballpark
Cyclone Ballpark is a state-of-the-art outdoor baseball complex in Pecos, TX. Featuring concession stands, batting cages, a press box, and shade structures boasting a premium baseball experience, the complex hosts youth and amateur tournaments, competitions, and events from all over West Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. Core Scientific’s support powered community events and leagues, ensuring local teams have access to these top-tier facilities.

West of the Pecos Rodeo
Dating back to 1883, the West of the Pecos Rodeo is known as the world's first rodeo. It is one of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association's top 40 prize-money rodeos, showcasing the best cowboys and bringing together a tightly knit community for a fun-filled week of wild west festivities. This year, Core Scientific was a proud sponsor of this historic tradition.

Holiday Support
This holiday season, Core Scientific collaborated with multiple food banks and head start programs to ensure that all students in each community had enough food to make it through the holiday break. To support communities where we operate, Core Scientific partnered with Muskogee Head Start (Muskogee, OK), West Texas Food Bank (Pecos, TX), Central Texas Food Bank (Austin, TX), Ann Windle School for Young Children Head Start Program (Denton, TX), Dalton Greater Works (Dalton, GA), HC Care Center & Food Bank (Grand Forks, ND), Hilltop Head Start (Andrews, NC), Paducah Cooperative Ministry (Calvert City, KY), and Frankie B. King Head Start (Auburn, AL).
