Every laptop, the desktop computer system uses an OS platform. There is the following OS we use in today's world:
?Linux is the clone of Unix. It was developed by Linus Torvalds in 1991 as a personal project. Most people think Linux is an OS but actually, it’s a Kernel.
What is Kernel?
The kernel is the program that facilitates us to communicate with the hardware and software. It’s the core component of the system. The kernel uses its modules to control the system.
Why choose Linux over other OS?
1.?Linux is open source with large community support.
2.?It is Virus-free.
3.?Stable
4.?Easy to troubleshoot.
5.?Easily customizable.
6.?Cost-effective
Mostly Linux is used for servers. It is available in both CLI (command line interface)?and
GUI (graphical user interface). CLI consumes very little RAM than GUI.
