Core builds for growth – focusing on SME expansion

Core Business Solutions is building for growth, to enhance business support services for small and medium-sized companies wishing to expand globally.

Core Business Solutions is a leader in helping businesses with unique products and services achieve their full commercial potential, both in the UK and abroad. Operated by a team that has traded in more than 70 countries over the past 30 years, the company has enjoyed continued success – so much so that they’re now re-structuring to better serve their key markets of small and, particularly, medium-sized companies with enterprising and exciting goods or services to sell internationally.

Company founder John Holmes is expanding his role as Chairman to include heading up Core’s Group Strategy, focusing on developing International Strategic Partners on a global scale as well as developing the rapidly growing Service Partner Program.

Dan Davis has taken on the role of CEO to focus on strategic development within the UK, as well as looking after UK client service and development. “With Dan handling the UK business, that gives me the freedom to concentrate on world markets,” says Chairman John Holmes. “This means that we’ll be able to give even more support to our SME clients, guiding them towards successful results on an international scale.”

Julie Anders, Core’s Communications Director, remains responsible for branding and communications across the group, with a growing focus on client work. She will be working closely with Martin Byrne who, as Events Director, is working with Core’s Service Partners to drive forward a comprehensive business events programme for 2017 and 2018.

The team is also enhanced by the addition of Marta Dwan as COO with a focus to improve our operating efficiencies and to support the growth program, and David Howlett as Key Account Director who will be heading up Core’s activities in London and the South of England.

The appointment of Priyesh TS as Managing Director of Core’s Middle East division heralds an exciting new venture for the company. Based in Dubai, Priyesh will be responsible for expanding Core’s business presence throughout the Middle East as well as supporting clients wishing to develop into the region; Priyesh’s in-depth knowledge of the area’s commercial practices and structures make him an ideal candidate for securing significant growth for Core throughout the region.

Over the coming weeks, Core will be launching its newly designed International Strategic Partner Program, to open up markets around the world with on the ground support for businesses wishing to export their products or services into new regions.

“We’re very excited about the future of Core in helping clients across both UK and international markets,” says John Holmes. “We’ve honed our skills over many years, and now is the right time for us to roll out our capabilities on a global scale.”
