Copy of Wisdom, where do you find it?

Copy of Wisdom, where do you find it?

I have been a doctor for 30 years and during my time I have learned a lot from hearing patient stories and witnessed what they've been through.

I have helped people going through the traumas of life, the mental health, their losses.

I now combine with my work in care of the frail and elderly, and dealing with palliative care. I

have listened to the stories from the family, the sons and daughters who looked after the elder elderly parents and now when they approached the end of life.

This combined with my coach training has given me a lot of wisdom but I can now share with you

Like many people I have been through traumas of life and survived.

This puts me in a unique position to be able to support you with up and downs of life.

?When I was younger, I looked to the church and bible for help and support.

We all need a guru in our lives, someone to turn to give us words of advice when we need it.

Life is about learning; learning from our mistakes and the things that have gone right.

At times life can be so difficult and it's so hard to know what is the right decision, because it can have repercussions for so many people.

I have also gained knowledge from reading books and journals and hearing people's stories.

I've also gained wisdom from my mistakes, and now I feel so lucky to have gained wisdom.

How have you gained your wisdom?

Everyone has their own way of gaining it, but my thoughts are that we learn from each other and we learn from stories we can only learn from the past.

Life is great and life is hard and I love it.

I do worry about people who are repeating similar mistakes over and over again and failed to listen or talk to anyone about it.

Sharing our experiences are so important for our own well-being and those around us.

Sometimes when I'm listening to another person story I just wish but they had sought help at earlier stage rather than when things hit crisis point.

So much heartache could have been avoided.

In summary 30 years working as a doctor combined with coach training and surviving life traumas has parted has given me wisdom.

I have a love of learning and learnt from people stories and the books.

Life is about making choices and living with consequences.

There are some things within our control and plenty which are not. Wisdom comes with age and knowledge.

I do not have all the answers, but you and I can work together to find what is right for you.

No one has all the answers no one knows which is the correct decision for you but by talking and sharing it, you can get peace and courage.
