British Sign Language support

At Deaf Umbrella, we provide comprehensive British Sign Language (BSL) support across various sectors. Our BSL interpreters play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps, ensuring Deaf individuals have equal access to services and opportunities. Whether it's in education or corporate events, our interpreters uphold the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.

Deaf Awareness Training

Deaf awareness is a vital aspect of creating an inclusive society. Our Deaf awareness training programs have been well-received, and we are excited to share some notable highlights:

  • Deaf Awareness Training at Bromley Healthcare: We delivered a tailored Deaf awareness course for NHS staff, and it was a fantastic session! Everyone engaged fully with the interactive exercises, making it both enjoyable and informative. Our aim is to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to better support Deaf individuals, ensuring effective communication and understanding within the healthcare setting.

  • Feedback from Participants: We recently received heartwarming feedback from a participant in our Deaf awareness training program. They shared their positive experience and emphasised how our training has improved their understanding and interactions with Deaf colleagues and customers. Read the feedback here!
