18 months ago, we set out to create a YouTube channel that would truly matter to Asian businesses. We wanted to address pressing business topics, provide actionable insights, and connect with an audience looking for answers.

One of our breakthrough moments came with a video on a highly competitive keyword: "E-Invoicing Malaysia."

The stakes? A potential RM20,000 fine if businesses weren’t compliant. The video resonated deeply, gathering over 80,000 views, sparking discussions across the business community, and playing a huge role in helping us grow to 20,000 subscribers.

Here’s why we believe this video went “viral”:

?? Color: We used bold red—a standout choice in the business niche.

?? Thumbnail design: Featuring a friendly face of Annie Wong 黄如金 to make the topic more approachable.

?? SEO optimization: Keywords like “e-invoicing” strategically placed to ensure discoverability.

?? Community engagement: Sharing the video in relevant groups led to almost 100 comments of vibrant discussion.

?? Emotion-driven visuals: The thumbnail highlighted fear (the RM20k fine) to immediately grab attention.

What surprised us the most? one of the biggest traffic source wasn’t YouTube search or suggested videos—it was WhatsApp. Sharing the video on this platform created a ripple effect that brought in thousands of views and amplified its reach.

This video wasn’t just a hit for views—it became a critical resource for Malaysian businesses navigating compliance. Collaborating with FA Advisory Sdn Bhd was key to delivering both value and clarity.

Moments like this reaffirm why we started the channel: to create content that solves real problems, sparks conversations, and drives action.
