Forums & Trade Shows

Despite a timid recovery in professional events, Copernilabs participated in several strategic meetings in January 2025.

Conference of African Ambassadors in Paris – December 29, 2024

Copernilabs was represented by its CEO at the XVI African Ambassadors' Conference in Paris, under the theme: "The bright future of the African space sector".

As a panelist, our CEO shared his experience in NewSpace and highlighted the importance of a global strategy to build African space sovereignty. In particular, he stressed that:

"The acquisition of satellites without a full space programme is not sufficient to guarantee the autonomy of a State in terms of space sovereignty."

Key issues identified

  • Factors limiting space autonomy : ground infrastructure, technical skills, launch capability, security and independence.
  • Levers for action : investment in education, international partnerships, infrastructure development, innovation and research.
  • Benefits of on-demand satellite services : reduced costs, flexibility, access to state-of-the-art technology and risk mitigation.

This conference was an opportunity to present Copernilabs' solutions to the African diplomatic corps and aroused strong interest from several nations.

Technological Advances: Digital Content Protection

January 2025 was marked by significant progress by Copernilabs in the field of digital content protection.

Our engineers have developed advanced AI-based audio, visual, and metadata analysis methodologies to enhance the security of real-time streaming. This integrated pilot project has already yielded promising results.

We will keep you informed of the next developments in the coming weeks.

This methodology, based on the research and calculation of similarities between various data streams to detect potential anomalies and prevent online fraud, has multiple applications, including:?

Cybersecurity:

? Intrusion Detection: By analyzing login logs and network flows, it becomes possible to identify unusual behaviors that may indicate unauthorized access attempts or attacks.

? Data Leak Prevention: Monitoring outgoing flows and comparing them with established standards helps to detect suspicious transfers of sensitive data.

?

E-commerce:

? Detection of Fraudulent Accounts and Fake Reviews: Analyzing user behavioral patterns can reveal anomalies in purchasing habits or reviews, signaling fraudulent activities or the existence of fake accounts.

?

Supply Chain Management:

? Combating Counterfeiting: ?Examining traceability and logistics data allows the detection of irregularities that may indicate the presence of counterfeit products.

?

For each of these applications, our engineers will adapt similarity algorithms according to the specific context of the data. They will also adjust anomaly detection thresholds and implement post-detection verification procedures to minimize false positives while optimizing fraud prevention.
