Cool Creator Questions

Cool Creator Questions

Sometimes it’s frustrating when I think I’m not helping my circle of friends here enough. And then I got an idea. What if I spotlighted someone and asked them some questions?...

Took a peek behind the curtain to see what successful people do (and think!) to keep good things coming.

So I chose someone I admire and who gives back to others to be my first guest.

Her name is Jessica Walrack. Not only has she helped me in several of my “crunches,” but she’s incredible at what she does.

I always learn something when I read her content and can't wait to read her posts since they're filled with not only facts but also real value. Things I can put into practice right away.

Jessica is a writer and content marketing strategist (including websites and branding) and has been at it for eight years.

Here’s more from the "whiz kid" herself:

1. What's your "Why?" for becoming an entrepreneur?

"About 8 years ago, my husband and I were both working 40-50 hours per week and hardly saw each other or our son (who was 4 at the time).

We decided we wanted to spend more time together and travel abroad/live wherever the wind blew us. That desire led us to explore various types of online work which led me to writing.

The freedom to live how and where I want with those I love most continues to drive me every day. I also have the desire to help others do the same through my online marketing services."

2. What is your favorite thing to write and why?

"My favorite things to write are blog posts. I’ve always enjoyed sharing knowledge and blogs give me the opportunity to figure out the best possible way I can explain a topic.

At the same time, I enjoy how you can follow a few practices to get content seen in search engines and then watch it climb the ranks/drive results for people for years to come."

3. Are you doing your dream job?

"I’ve never really had a dream job per se. My dream has always been to live life to the fullest, make a positive impact, keep learning, and be surrounded by good, real people I trust and love.

I imagine staying active, curious, and adventurous all my days.

The projects I do keep me curious, challenge my mind, enable me to always meet new people, help me make an impact, and let me live how/where/with whom I want, so I’d say what I’m doing aligns with my dream life."

Isn’t she wonderful? I’m honored to have met her here and I consider her a friend.

Thank you, Jessica. For sharing your expertise with customers and colleagues. And for always wanting to help those who are often overlooked. You deserve any recognition you get.

Jessica -- Hey! Just wanted to make sure you saw this. (Although you always comment on my posts so you probably don't need it, but just in case.) ??
