COOKLEGAL welcomes Solicitor Julie George

Expert Domestic Violence and Family Law firm Cook Legal is proud to announce the appointment of Solicitor, Julie George to the Cook Legal team from 7 February 2017. 

 Julie joins Director, Kara Cook and Consultant Solicitors, Tamara de Kretser and Stephanie Ewart as part of the legal team.

 Julie is a Legal Practitioner and an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, and has gained valuable experience and expertise working with government services and in private practice, undertaking family law mediation and domestic violence responses.

Julie has a particular interest in working towards negotiated or mediated outcomes for clients given her background as a mediator avoiding the cost and delay associated with litigation.

 Prior to becoming a Lawyer, Julie was a Registered Nurse working with oncology, spinal injuries and general medical patients. She went on to become a Nurse Consultant, managing medical research into treatments for liver disease.
