I remember him being relentless in driving performance for customers and at the same time, Kwik-Fit Insurance was probably way ahead of its time in terms of employee engagement - for me, it was a brilliant place to work. I remember getting a telling off from him one day…”you wouldn’t go to the butchers to buy a pencil would you?” It’s amazing what sticks in your mind all these years later ??
