Convincing People to Work at Your Startup (an underdeveloped society)
Getting people to join your startup in any society where people are looking to work in a 'safe place' like South Asia differs from doing it in developed societies like San Francisco - where people are already familiar with startups, so you need to persuade them to pick yours.
But in other parts of the world, you must do two things:
The key is to not compete on the things you can’t win and focus on what you can.
?? Don't Compete On...
?? Compete On...
The cool thing is that framing your startup this way attracts the right people and repels the wrong ones. It acts like a filter. You don't want to force anyone to join; you want them to see the value.
Focusing on growth and opportunity will attract the right people to your startup. And if it's not appealing to them, they probably wouldn't be a good fit anyway. So don't give up; keep pushing for growth and opportunity, and you'll find the right people to join your team.
