Raising money from venture capital firms is difficult for even the most promising startups. Many founders fail due to a lack of preparation regarding what investors are looking for to invest in a startup. Chris Grouchy and Roger Kirkness of Convictional have successfully raised $2.2 million in a seed round led by Lachy Groom, an early Stripe employee, with participation from AME Cloud Ventures (Jerry Yang, founder of Yahoo), Tribe Capital, FundersClub, Garage Capital, and others.
