Conversations with ChatGPT

It's been quiet on the Anna front. Why? That's a great question. Mostly because the gender gap in GenAI turnes out to be a rabbit hole. I started with an influencer and before I knew it, I got talking to so many people who share my concerns, people who don't, people who want my expertise on gender but also on AI.

With every step I take to dig deeper, I feel more like Alice in Wonderland. I got into this magical but sometimes scary world where I feel small and big at the same time.

But the thing I didn't stop doing, was generating content. And talking to generative AI, because I find it remarkable how it generates biased content and at the same time it's able to give perfect advice about how to address your own bias.

Sharing is caring, especially with conversations

One of the most useful new features of the last months in ChatGPT, is the possibility to share conversations. I use this feature a lot. And when I say a lot, I mean: almost daily. It's a great way to make sure people understand my process of thinking, what questions I've asked and understand the context. It's a way to teach without things getting lost in translation.

So this is what I'll be doing here: sharing some of my conversations I have with ChatGPT about the genderbias in it's own system and how this affects society on a macro-level.

Where my experiment is going, I can't tell. But for now, I'm mostly trying to find my way into the world of AI, and trying to find a way to get the message out. I've done speaches, talks, personal conversations, papers, but I'm not done getting talking about this. I can't look into the future so I don't know where this is going. But I do hope it's towards a future were I - as a woman - feel free.

Time will tell, so for now I can only say: see you next time, with a new conversation to spark the discussion!
