Conversation Control Starts with Self-Control
In order to maximize control over a conversation you must be disciplined and exercise self-control.
The reality is you cannot control another person, you can only control yourself.
Exercising self-control means being responsible and accountable for the outcome and process but giving up an attachment to a certain result. This only happens with awareness of what’s occurring in every conversation while it’s happening.
Approach each conversation with the idea that your behavior in the conversation will be decisive. Your ability to exercise self-control in your conversations with your client will determine how and where your relationship goes.
A single conversation can be productive, fail to go anywhere, take the relationship backward or even end the relationship.
If you’re intentional about how you conduct yourself and are disciplined during your conversations, it will make a significant difference.
The bottom line benefit of you successfully exercising self-control will be client loyalty. You will earn credibility as a skillful communicator because of how you conduct yourself.
Speaking of self-control, the Lab at Conversations Academy presents: Conversation Control Starts with Self-Control via zoom on Saturday, January 20th from 8:00am - 9:30am PST.
In this Lab we will:
1) Teach you how to have self-control in a conversation,

3) Give you the opportunity to practice maintaining control over a conversation.?
Please message me if you're interested in learning more about the opportunity.
