Episode #3- Conversation with Adrian Vila

Episode #3- Conversation with Adrian Vila

Adrian is an amazing landscape photographer based out of the United States right now. What intrigued me that he has moved from being a software engineer to a full-time photographer. I always have a deep respect for people who follow this kind of transition, something which I have not been able to attempt yet, maybe later in life.

I am following Adrian’s work for last six months on youtube and I have been awestruck not just by his pictures, but by the journey he is going through to find his creative self.

I have found myself struggling to find my creative self and though it would be a great topic of talk with someone like Adrian, who has such a varied aspect of creativity.

In this conversation, we both are trying to unearth some of these questions which are not letting us be our creative self. The two of my favs, which has impacted me personally are

  • Perfectionism- one can never be perfect… so why pursue it.. but how to manage the anxiety which says, whatever we are doing is not good enough
  • Fear of Failure- this has a lot of relatability to above and with it, it feeds the feeling that how unworthy we are..

Do let us know what you think of the talk.
