Convergence Insufficiency, Lazy-Eye, Eye-turns, Myopia Astigmatism etc.

Eye-Health, Accessibility, Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion

There are diseases and dis-eases and adaptations caused by over-exposure to a stressor of any kind resulting in tiredness, fatigue, discomfort presenting in eye-strain, eye and headaches, blurred or worse double vision, migraine, dizziness, nausea etc.

The 3D eye-muscle strain results in the visual system attempting to reduce any vision stress of sustaining "convergence and accommodation" on anything less than 20ft away indoors and, particularly close-up, now exacerbated by our ongoing use of standard, out of the box, bright white background to text, the majority display screen users and operator at work in the 21st Digital century, carrying-on regardless accepting without making "reasonable adjustments" to prevent or mitigate screen fatigue, CVS etc in 58% of users.

Conventionally VT or eye-exercises have been used to rehabilitate the early or even later stages of becoming habitually one-eyed or monocular with 2D vision as being effectively one-eyed provides a clearer single image for the brain to process - simple'sss

Usually eye exercises will include a range of retraining approaches from eye-patching to, now trending and increasingly fashionable Brock-String methodology along with digital on-screen solutions.

"International Accessibility Regulations" for website design and Display Screen Operators has had a fascinating biproduct of significantly reducing vision stress and eye-strain along with Computer Vision Syndrome or Screen Fatigue in the workplace linked to vision suppression in one-eye, myopia and thereby predictable risk of asthenopia, 3D vision loss presenting in astigmatisms, lazy-eye / eye-turns.
