After posting a couple of recent Data Driven Experience videos I had a number of questions on Computer Vision for real-time, immersive experiences. I put together this summary to share my perspective on where we are, especially in the age of machine learning and Generative AI.

From performance analysis and in-race decisions to fan engagement and live-streaming, the potential is vast.?Computer Vision transforms our perception and interaction with content, Live or XVoD.

In sports, Computer Vision systems meticulously track and analyze the movements of objects such as cars, players, and equipment, offering invaluable data on speed, technique, and positioning. Take racing, for instance, where producers and teams utilize Computer Vision to provide real-time insights to driving coaches, team owners, and ultimately fans.?By analyzing live match data, they can make data-driven decisions and offer everything from real-time coaching to visually captivating graphics overlays.
