Hi! My name is Thea Tyberg and I am a franchisee at 7-Eleven Sweden. I have been a franchisee and driven 7-Eleven stores in central Stockholm for the past two years. I’m originally from the city of Norrk?ping, which is roughly a two-hour drive away from Stockholm, but I’ve lived in our capital city for the past three years.??
I live in the municipality of Sundbyberg and love it there! This is because of the close proximity to both nature and cozy cafes while still being only one station away from the pulse and noise from the city center. In fact, this is also the perfect mix of what characterizes me as a person! I usually spend most of my free time running in nature, with loud music blasting in my headphones. A slightly fun fact is that I have an incredibly poor sense of direction, so most of my runs are longer than intended because usually I get lost and my only choice is to keep running until I find my way back home. This has given me quite a large number of "involuntary" miles!??
When I'm not at work, or sweaty and lost on a running trail, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I love skiing, hiking and of course trying out new restaurants, something I try to do as often as possible.??
Having fun at work
The thing I love most about my job as a franchisee is without a doubt my colleagues. Not a day goes by without us having so much fun, which makes it easy to forget that you're at work. The same applies to my customers, my motto is to always have a lot of fun together with everyone that visits my store. Our strength is that everyone strives towards the same goal, and we achieve them through a high work ethic and always make sure to be there for each other. I really believe that a happy and pleasant workplace makes everything so much easier!?

We always do our best to make every customer feel special. This has resulted in us having a large amount of returning customers, which we are extremely grateful for. If we recognize a customer, we try to remember what the customer has bought before and sometimes prepare the order before the customer even has placed their order. This makes them feel remembered which leads them to experiencing a high level of service. We are also extra good at presenting new products through sampling and helping to nudge the customer towards the choice we believe they will like.??
"I want to come here again, such happy and amazing people working at that store!" is something I want all our customers to think after they’ve visited us!?
When sun's out - goods fly out
If I could choose a superpower, it would be to be able to influence the weather. I would make sure the sun was always shining, because when the sun is shining, the customers come in and the goods fly out! The weather is also probably the most talked about topic in Sweden, imagine how many exciting things we would have discussed instead if the sun was always shining?!??
