Control Your Thinking

Hey Khadevis!

When I was on an expedition to the North Pole and it was 80 below zero, my team discovered we were being tracked and hunted by polar bears. Over the years, I’ve managed to keep my thoughts under control, but it was very difficult going to sleep with the image of a giant carnivore ripping my tent open.?

Whether you’re aware of it or not, your mind has been?programmed?to react and think in certain ways. Unfortunately, much of our mind’s programming produces negative thoughts, which then dictate how we make decisions and live every day. ?


Going to sleep that night about 15 miles from 90 degrees North, there’s one thing I didn’t allow my brain to do, and that’s repeatedly ask the question, "What if…" ?


Just like those polar bears,?your thoughts?can often get out of control and cause some serious damage. Everything you do is the result of repetitive?programming?your brain has received throughout however many years you’ve been alive. These have become your?habits, your?routines, your way of?acting, and have become a?representation?of who you are. We are all a representation of repetition. ?

If you want to change who you are, what you have, how you feel, etc… change what you do.?Change your pattern.?Change your routine. ?

Once you begin programming your brain to?expect positive outcomes, what do you think begins happening in your life? ?

If you were honest with yourself and completed the first week of bookending, you are on the path of?programming?your brain by increasing the strength of your?Personal Core Values, and seeking out?opportunities.?

There will still be times when you’re tempted to fall back into your old patterns, and that’s fine, but once you begin paying attention to what your habits are, you can begin changing them.?

Are you ready for change?
