I think it is very important for sole traders and business to understand that you need to stay in control of your website. One can argue that it is your main sales channel. That means that closed web platforms are not necessarily the answer, even though they may offer some usability advantages. This is your sales channel (or funnel if you added some smart functions to it), therefore your property. Therefore you need to keep control over it and ensure that you are not dependent on another company or provider.
